✍️ Description
PantryPlan is a meal planning tool that plans meals from what users already have on hand then starts using things from the store. The meal planning algorithm isn't as simple as a DB query, it balances using up as much as it can and minimizes what it doesn't. It scores a library for a few thousand recipes according to what ingredients, how many, how much, what pantry ingredients are expiring first, whether the user liked the recipe before. In addition to getting the website, you also get a library of scripts for sanitizing scraped recipes & associating them with pre-existing ingredients. There is an admin panel for going through the recipes and sanitizing them manually as well.
